Courtney Sunderland

M.S.W, LMSW, LCSW, EMDR Trained

Courtney Sunderland is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, and her Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO.

Courtney believes that many of life’s struggles are deeply rooted in experiences from childhood through adulthood. She is passionate about helping clients process these experiences, address core issues, and walk in lasting healing. Her approach involves gently challenging belief systems that no longer serve clients and guiding them to come into alignment with the Truth.

Courtney is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) through EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). She combines evidence-based therapeutic methods with a holistic faith-informed approach to walk clients through their healing journey. She believes in the power of God’s Word to bring healing, freedom, and restoration. In her compassionate and collaborative sessions, clients find a safe space to experience hope and healing.

Outside of her work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband, Joshua, and connecting with family and friends. She enjoys traveling, catching a good movie, savoring a great cup of coffee, and caring for her dog, Lucy. She and her husband also serve as youth leaders at their church, pouring into the next generation with unconditional love and Truth.
